Hotel is relaxed and the staff are very friendly – but don’t expect luxury – the rooms are quite small and bathrooms basic. I don’t think the ‘cleaning fairies’ visited our room much during our stay – but that was really not a problem.

Food was perfectly acceptable - there were 3 varied main courses on the menu each evening - served with red or white house wine –enjoyable and good value for money.
Breakfast and afternoon tea were pretty basic.

There is a lot of communal space in the hotel – several large lounges and a childrens playroom – but these were mostly unused.

The hotel location is great - just across the road from the new Melezes lift which takes you up to Plagne Centre – though beware - the run back down to 1800 is challenging for beginners (though we had 2 in our group and they both managed it towards the end of the week with no problems- but I still can’t believe they managed it!) The alternative would be to catch the (free) shuttle bus back down from Centre to 1800. Hotel arranged ski hire from shop just opposite which was great and very good value.

Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday which was really good value for money.
